The URV Art Classroom presents the exhibition "Enric Madorran Paintings" which can be visited at the CRAI campus Catalunya from 9 to 27 February. The opening ceremony will take place on Monday 9 February at 7 pm in the CRAI lobby.
Enric Madorran has a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona. Throughout his artistic career he has been recognized with several awards, including the 1985 Biennial award at the Museu d'Art Modern de Tarragona, the XXIII Julio Antonio Sculpture Award.
His work is closely linked to his life experience and the role that art has played in his personal well-being. Artistic practice has provided him with a space for expression, creation and emotional balance, and has become a fundamental tool in his personal process.
Currently, he continues to develop his pictorial work and teaches artistic workshops at the La Muralla Association and the Tarragona Day Center, promoting creativity and artistic expression as resources for health, inclusion and social participation. He also actively participates in the Parelles Artístiques project, promoted personally and by the La Muralla Association.
This exhibition presents a selection of his pictorial work and a sample of the work of his students, people with diverse experiences in the field of mental health, and highlights art as a tool for well-being, learning and personal and collective transformation.
