DESCRIPTION:The FECYT\, together with Elsevier\, has organized the II Onlin
 e Training Cycle of the Scopus Database that will take place throughout th
 e second semester of 2025\, with the aim of making known the updates\, cha
 nges and novelties of this database\, through several free sessions\, in S
 panish\, and that will be held during the coming months.\n\nThe sessions o
 ffered for the month of&nbsp\;Desember 2025 are:\n\n\nDesember 2&nbsp\;(fr
 om 10&nbsp\;to 12&nbsp\;am): Scopus: basic and intermediate level\no Creat
 e your user\no Perform searches and analyze the results page and various m
 etrics related to the articles\no Evaluate the quality of journals using m
 etrics such as CiteScore\, SNIP and Scimago\no Get to know the author and 
 institution pages\no Get to know the sources indexed in Scopus\n&nbsp\;\n\
 nDesember 3&nbsp\;(from 15&nbsp\;to 16&nbsp\;pm): Scopus: metrics and comp
 arison of journals\no How the Scopus fence mechanisms work\no What is a re
 search query?\no Use field codes\, boolean operators\, proxy operators\, c
 ommon characters and others to optimize your boundaries\no Check proper or
  exact parameters.\n\nDesember 4&nbsp\;(from 10&nbsp\;to 11&nbsp\;am): Sco
 pus: question and answer session\no Participate in this open Q&amp\;A sess
 ion to answer questions about Scopus\, the largest reference and citation 
 database in the world.\n\n\nAs usual\, it should be remembered that these 
 sessions are open and aimed at all students\, researchers and users who ar
 e part of any Spanish R&amp\;D&amp\;I institution with a Scopus license.\n
 \nYou can consult all the sessions and formalize your prior registration t
 hrough&nbsp\;this link.&nbsp\;The first time you access it\, you will be a
 sked to validate yourself in SABiDi with your university credentials. From
  here\, you can choose the session or sessions of your interest. Use the U
 RV institutional email when filling out the registration form. Once formal
 ized\, you will receive a confirmation email that you must save because it
  contains the link to be able to access the session on the day and time in
 dicated. Check your spam folder if you have not received it.\n\nAll users 
 who take the courses and answer 100% of all the online questions that will
  be asked live throughout the session will receive a satisfaction survey b
 y email and\, a few weeks later\, the certificate of attendance.\n\n&nbsp\
