DESCRIPTION:The FECYT\, together with Elsevier\, has organized the II Onlin
 e Training Cycle of the Scopus Database that will take place throughout th
 e first semester of 2026\, with the aim of making known the updates\, chan
 ges and novelties of this database\, through several free sessions\, in Sp
 anish\, and that will be held during the coming months.\n\nThe sessions of
 fered for the month of&nbsp\;February 2026 are:\n\n\nFebruary 23 (3-4 p.m.
 ): Searching for documents in Scopus.\no Access\, account creation\, and r
 egistration\no&nbsp\;My Scopus: alerts\, saving lists and searches.\no&nbs
 p\;Simple and subject searches.\no Refinement filters and alerts\, results
  analysis. \no Advanced search.\n&nbsp\;\n\nFebruary 24 (3-4 p.m.): Author
  and organization profiles in Scopus. \no How to generate an author profil
 e and what metrics Scopus presents. \no How to find the most relevant auth
 ors using a keyword. \no&nbsp\;How to explore an organization&#39\;s profi
 le\, identify researchers\, and analyze impact.\n\n\nFebruary 25 (3-4 p.m.
 ): How to identify the most important journals in Scopus \no Finding the t
 itles of sources indexed in Scopus. \no Selecting sources by subject area.
  \no Viewing the metrics for each source\, including CiteScore\, SJR\, and
  SNIP. \no&nbsp\;Compare different sources.\n\n\nFebruary 26 (3-4 p.m.): S
 copus Author Seminar. \no How Scopus and other free Elsevier resources sup
 port authors. \no&nbsp\;Questions and answers.\n\n\nFebruary 27 (3-4 p.m.)
 : How to identify the impact of an author&#39\;s scientific output using S
 copus. \no Number of publications \no&nbsp\;Number of citations \no&nbsp\;
 Publication descriptors \no Impact of publications considering the metrics
  of the journals where you have published \no Social impact on patents\, p
 ublic policy\, and SDGs\n\n\n\nAs usual\, it should be remembered that the
 se sessions are open and aimed at all students\, researchers and users who
  are part of any Spanish R&amp\;D&amp\;I institution with a Scopus license
 .\n\nYou can consult all the sessions and formalize your prior registratio
 n through&nbsp\;this link.&nbsp\;The first time you access it\, you will b
 e asked to validate yourself in SABiDi with your university credentials. F
 rom here\, you can choose the session or sessions of your interest. Use th
 e URV institutional email when filling out the registration form. Once for
