SUMMARY:I Online Training Cycle of the Scopus Database

DESCRIPTION:FECYT\, together with Elsevier\, will repeat the 1st Online Tra
 ining Cycle on the Scopus database. The sessions will take place throughou
 t the entire month of June\, from 11:00 to 12:00\, with the aim of present
 ing updates\, changes\, and new features of this database through several 
 free sessions held in Spanish.\n\nThe sessions offered for June 2026 are:\
 n\nJune 1 (11:00-12:00): Searching for documents in Scopus\no Access\, acc
 ount creation\, and registration\no My Scopus: alerts\, saving lists and s
 earches\no Basic and subject searches\no Refinement filters and alerts\, r
 esults analysis\no Advanced search\n\nJune 2 (11:00-12:00): Author profile
 s and organizations in Scopus\no How an author profile is generated and wh
 ich metrics Scopus provides\no How to find the most relevant authors using
  a keyword\no How to explore an organization&#39\;s profile\, identify res
 earchers\, and analyze their impact\n\nJune 3 (11:00-12:00): How to identi
 fy the most important journals in Scopus\no Finding indexed source titles 
 in Scopus\no Selecting sources by subject area\no Viewing source metrics\,
  including CiteScore\, SJR\, and SNIP\no Comparing different sources\n\nJu
 ne 4 (11:00-12:00): Author seminar in Scopus\no How Scopus and other free 
 Elsevier resources support authors\no Questions and answers\n\nJune 5 (11:
 00-12:00): How to identify the impact of an author&#39\;s scientific outpu
 t using Scopus\no Number of publications\no Number of citations\no Publica
 tion descriptors\no Impact of publications considering the metrics of the 
 journals where they were published\no Social impact in patents\, public po
 licies\, and SDGs\n\nAs usual\, it should be remembered that these session
 s are open and aimed at all students\, researchers and users who are part 
 of any Spanish R&amp\;D&amp\;I institution with a Scopus license.\n\nYou c
 an consult all the sessions and formalize your prior registration through&
 nbsp\;this link.&nbsp\;The first time you access it\, you will be asked to
  validate yourself in SABiDi with your university credentials. From here\,
  you can choose the session or sessions of your interest. Use the URV inst
 itutional email when filling out the registration form. Once formalized\, 
 you will receive a confirmation email that you must save because it contai
 ns the link to be able to access the session on the day and time indicated
 . Check your spam folder if you have not received it.\n\nAll users who tak
 e the courses and answer 100% of all the online questions that will be ask
 ed live throughout the session will receive a satisfaction survey by email
  and\, a few weeks later\, the certificate of attendance.\n\n&nbsp\;Record
 ed sessions and training material&nbsp\;from other courses on Scopus and a
 lso on Web of Science can also be downloaded.
