DESCRIPTION:An exhibition that invites you to discover this manifestation o
 f popular culture through a critical look that highlights the gender repre
 sentations\, power relations and decolonial perspectives that are present 
 in it.\n\nThe exhibition has been created by Ònia Amenós\, Pau Cabré an
 d Laia Ventura\, under the supervision of Francesc Massip\, and takes a jo
 urney through the history\, origins and evolution of spoken dances\, addre
 ssing aspects such as the spectacle\, women and the festival\, the figure 
 of the festive devil\, verses in the street and in the town\, as well as t
 he stages of rise and decline of these popular manifestations. In addition
 \, it includes a bibliographical exhibition dedicated to spoken dances and
  the different festive elements that are part of them.\n\nThe exhibition w
 as inaugurated on 24&nbsp\;September at 6 pm and can be visited at the CRA
 I campus Catalunya until 9&nbsp\;October.\n\nThis initiative is part of th
 e III International Congress of Spoken Dances. Spoken dances from a gender
  and decolonial perspective\, which brings together specialists and resear
 chers to reflect on these manifestations of popular culture.
