DESCRIPTION:To coincide with the World Science Day for Peace and Developmen
 t (10 November)\, the CRAI Sescelades Campus has created a featured collec
 tion exploring the presence of chemistry in the world of cooking and food.
 \n\nCommon processes such as boiling\, frying\, baking and fermenting food
  involve chemical and physical transformations that alter its properties\,
  texture\, colour and flavour.\n\nChemistry helps us understand these phen
 omena and contributes to improving food preservation\, quality and safety.
 \n\nWe invite you to discover how science is present in culinary processes
  and how chemistry also forms part of our everyday lives.\n\nIn the Outrea
 ch Area on the first floor.
