II Online Training Cycle of the Scopus Database: ANECA six-year research periods and the use of Scopus in evaluation

The FECYT, together with Elsevier, has organized the II Online Training Cycle of the Scopus Database that will take place throughout the second semester of 2025, with the aim of making known the updates, changes and novelties of this database, through several free sessions, in Spanish, and that will be held during the coming months.

A new and unique session is scheduled for November 2025:

• November 26 (from 10 to 11 am): ANECA six-year research periods and the use of Scopus in evaluation
  
  How to organize the profile and obtain the correct data on scientific production according to the criteria:
  o Quantity of publications
  o Quantity of Citations
  o H-Index
  o Diversity of contributions (types of sources, access, geographical projection and multidisciplinarity)
  o Impact of publications considering the metrics of the journals where you have published

As usual, it should be remembered that these sessions are open and aimed at all students, researchers and users who are part of any Spanish R&D&I institution with a Scopus license.

You can consult all the sessions and formalize your prior registration through this link. The first time you access it, you will be asked to validate yourself in SABiDi with your university credentials. From here, you can choose the session or sessions of your interest. Use the URV institutional email when filling out the registration form. Once formalized, you will receive a confirmation email that you must save because it contains the link to be able to access the session on the day and time indicated. Check your spam folder if you have not received it.

All users who take the courses and answer 100% of all the online questions that will be asked live throughout the session will receive a satisfaction survey by email and, a few weeks later, the certificate of attendance.
