Center of interest "World Day against Depression (January 13)" at CRAI Medicine and Health Sciences

In order to commemorate the World Day for the Fight Against Depression (January 13) at CRAI Medicine and Health Sciences, they have prepared a center of interest and a virtual guide with information, recommendations and different resources on this topic.

January 13 has been established by different international organizations and institutions as World Depression Day with the aim of promoting awareness and sensitization to the increase in this disorder.

This date reminds us that depression is a complex but treatable problem, and although it is a reality that affects more than 300 million people around the world, millions of people are also able to recover their well-being with adequate support.

According to the WHO, it continues to be one of the main causes of disability in the world, which encourages us to strengthen prevention, access to mental health resources and the importance of early diagnosis.
