The Atenea collection specializes in women's studies, gender and feminisms and has a clear interdisciplinary focus. It is directed by Montserrat Duch, a professor at the Rovira i Virgili University, and aims to delve deeper into collective memory, cultivate a critical perspective on reality, advance the recognition of differences, and advocate for equality between people. Co-published with Arola Editors, the collection is included in the Directory of Open Access Books.
The official inauguration will be on March 9 at 1:30 p.m. at the CRAI campus Catalunya and will be led by Montserrat Duch (director of the Atenea collection), Jaume Llambrich (URV Publications) and Júlia Cuadrat (curator).
The event is part of the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Atenea collection, which received the Maria Antònia Ferrer 2022 distinction.
