Exhibition “Del Penedès als camps d’extermini nazis” at Catalunya campus CRAI

Exhibition by the Institut d'Estudis Penedesencs on the deportees from Alt Penedès, Anoia, Baix Penedès and Garraf, which can be visited at the CRAI campus Catalunya until 24 April.

From Monday, 13 April, the exhibition on the deportees from the Penedès can be visited. It has been produced by the Institut d'Estudis Penedesencs with the support, among other organisations, of the Amical de Mauthausen and the Amical de Buchenwald.

Curated by Ramón Arnabat, Berta Llorens, Àngels Parés, Maria Peña and Teresa Sadurní, the exhibition is a continuation of the research work and the book published a few months ago, which include research, information and biographies of all the people deported to Nazi camps from these counties. This work has now been transformed into a more visual exhibition, making this information more accessible and helping to achieve a better understanding of this terrible period of Nazism, the concentration and extermination camps, and their impact on our territory.
