Exhibition on Fair Trade as part of the campaign "And you, what do you choose? #IChooseFairTrade"
From May 15 to 29, the CRAI Campus Catalunya is hosting the exhibition "What is Fair Trade?", an initiative organised by URV Solidària as part of the campaign "Do you choose? And you, what do you choose? #IChooseFairTrade", which promotes more responsible consumption alternatives committed to people and the environment.
Through a series of informative infographics, the exhibition introduces the university community to the principles of fair trade-a model based on dialogue, transparency and respect-working to ensure decent working conditions, fair prices for producers, and sustainable practices from a social, economic and environmental perspective.
The exhibition highlights the values underpinning this movement, including environmental sustainability, gender equality, the protection of labour rights and the fight against child exploitation.
This activity forms part of a wider campaign that reminds us that, in our daily lives, we have many alternatives at our fingertips that support a more respectful and transformative model. Choosing Fair Trade, Ethical Finance and the Social and Solidarity Economy is also a way to contribute, through our everyday decisions, to a fairer and more sustainable world.
