The exhibition brings together underwater photographs of El Cavet and its biodiversity with paintings by artist Estela Trenado Moreno. It is an invitation to look beneath the surface and discover the life that exists right on our doorstep.
Why "invisible"? Posidonia is not an algae, but a flowering plant, and it blooms now, in the fall. It does so irregularly and remains hidden among the leaves, underwater, just a few meters from the shore. That is why almost no one has ever seen it. In El Cavet, the marine reserve of Cambrils, these seagrass meadows are home to countless species, and they are precisely what the Association Cave Cavet works to protect.
