TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE DRAW OF A TOUCH TABLET

In order to encourage students to take part in its user survey, the Learning and Research Centre (CRAI) of the Universitat Rovira i Virgili has announced a draw for all students enrolled on a course at the URV in the academic year 2022-23 and who respond to the online questionnaire sent to them for this purpose.

1.        Requirements for taking part

In order to take part in the draw, students must comply with the following requirements:

  1. Be enrolled at the URV for the academic year 2022-23.
  2. Fill in the online questionnaire that includes a CRAI user satisfaction survey for students.
  3. Every student can fill in only one questionnaire.
  4. Not be a member of the URV CRAI's administrative and service staff.

2.        Prize

There is just one prize: a touch-screen tablet.

3.        Deadline and how to take part in the draw

The link to the questionnaire will be emailed to students' official email address, which is activated as soon as a student completes enrolment.

The campaign will be available until the 31st May 2023.

Students must fill in the last information field with their identity card or passport number if they are to be able to take part in the draw.

Each completed survey will be given a correlative number that will be made public after the deadline for responding on a list published on the CRAI's website. Therefore, the list will contain the identity card or passport numbers listed correlatively.

If anyone should complete more than one questionnaire with the same identity card or passport number, only the first one shall be kept while all the others will be deleted.

4.        Procedure

The draw, the date of which will be announced on the website, will be public and made in the presence of Vice-Rector for Doctoral Studies and the CRAIs, or his/her representative.

The draw will be done using the random number generator software which can be found at the following website https://www.random.org/. To this end, three Catalunya Campus CRAI users will be selected randomly and asked to generate a random number that does not exceed the total number of participants. The first number to be generated will be the winning number and all others will be added to a reserve list that will be used if the winner does not accept the prize or if, for some reason, is not eligible.

The winner will be notified of the result of the draw by email - with acknowledgement of receipt - to the official URV email address given to students when they enrol. The result will also be published on the University's and the CRAI's websites.

5.        Collection of the prize

To pick up the prize, students must:

Identify themselves with their Spanish identity card or passport.

When they come to pick up the prize, a check will be made to ensure that they are enrolled at the URV.

Should they not comply with any of the requirements, they will no longer have the right to be awarded the tablet and the next number on the list will be called.

6.        Acceptance of the terms and conditions

By filling in the questionnaire, students fully agree to all terms and conditions. Any unforeseen circumstances will be resolved by the URV's general secretary and there will be no right of appeal.
