From October 20th to 26th, International Open Access Week 2025 is being celebrated, an annual initiative to promote open access to academia and research. This year's theme is "Who owns our knowledge?" -a poignant question about the current moment and how, in a disruptive era, communities can reassert control over the knowledge they produce.
To disseminate and learn about the benefits of publishing in open access, the CRAI has prepared various activities:
- We help you publish in open access, develop the data management plan and publish the research data in open access (Wednesday, October 22, 2025). Language: Catalan.
- Self-training courses on the Virtual Campus:

- Open Access and Publications Exhibition. Books, journals and digitized collections of the URV. From 13 to 26 October, an exhibition presenting the academic publications of the university's publishing house and the collections digitized by the CRAI, accessible through international repository platforms, will be open to the public in the lobby of the CRAI on the Catalunya campus.
- Open Access Corners. Centers of interest at the different CRAIs on campus with the aim of spreading open access among the university community. They can be visited at the following CRAIs on campus (all week during opening hours):
