Exhibition "Landscapes and policies of urban transformation. Perspectives from anthropology"

This exhibition addresses the processes of transformation and production of urban space in the context of late capitalism. These processes of change are often structured in international economic and social flows that have an impact on the cultural dynamics of the regions, while interconnecting realities.

The posters emphasize the anthropological interest in urban space through a relational perspective that allows us to identify the multiple factors and agents involved in such dynamics of socio-cultural change. These are the operative legitimating narratives and the role of the administration, the emergence of new imaginaries and actors within the transformed space and the assortment of local practices of contestation and resistance within the framework of a territory struggling for be produced and meant globally.

The exhibition was carried out by the students of the subject Post-industrialism, globalization and urban space, of the master's degree in urban anthropology, migrations and social intervention.
