The Spanish Association Against Cancer commemorates the work carried out over the last 50 years with the exhibition "50 years changing the history of cancer". Through it, you can learn about the results of its mission and discover close people involved in research and improvement in the treatment and diagnosis of cancer, such as Dr. Itziar Salaverría or Dr. Mariano Barbacid.
The sample consists of 13 roll ups. A historical review is made that begins with the creation of the association, continues with the description of the most important milestones and ends with the latest advances in research. AECC has been granting research grants since 1983 and, currently, it provides support to 401 projects that encompass most of the areas related to this disease.
