Exhibition "Women fighting. Labour conflicts in the textile industry of Tarragona (1961–1980)" at Sescelades campus CRAI

The exhibition takes a tour of the fighting story of women workers of the multinational tarragonine textile company Seidensticker-Valmeline. They were active subjects of labor conflict in the company between 1961 and 1980 and protagonists of struggles that are fundamental pieces of the historical memory of the women's labor movement.
Exhibition “12 years of Tarragona Comic Week” at the campus Catalunya CRAI

On the occasion of the presentation of the book Mirades i estudis desde la Setmana del Còmic de Tarragona, by the professor of the Department of Catalan Philology Emili Samper, an exhibition has been organized a sample of the posters of the lasts twelve editions. The posters combine the comic and the city of Tarragona and have been made, in each edition, by a member of Delirópolis or by a guest author of recognized prestige. Each poster has its own style.
The exhibition is complemented by an audiovisual and selected comics from the CRAI collection and is curated by URV Publications and the Guillem Oliver Center for Historical and Social Studies.

The CRAI URV wants to commemorate the "International Open Data Day" by exhibiting a center of interest that you will find in several locations: Baix Penedès Campus CRAI and Sescelades Campus CRAI .
This is a selection of books on open data, big data, repositories and open access, a collection of QR links to the main resources on open data (Institutional open access policy for URV research data, CORA, DMP and the open data guide developed by CRAI) and infographics related to open data.
We invite you to visit them and we remind you that the CRAI will provide you with the support you need in relation to the management of research data.
Exhibition "Round the world and shake your environment with a workcamp!" at Catalunya campus CRAI

The exhibition "Go around the world and shake your environment with a workcamp!" shows the work carried out by the Service Civil International of Catalonia, through volunteering, in order to empower society towards change, promoting social transformation at local and international level.
It is made up of 27 panels divided into different categories. Each part is explained in an information panel and is accompanied by photographs by different authors. It also has a general panel to publicize the organization, show one of the workcamps and explain the exhibition.
We hope that this exhibition will open you up to new experiences and encourage you to be part of this community of volunteers, participating in one of the many workcamps they offer.
Center of interest: “March 8 - International Women's Day “ on The URV CRAI

The CRAI URV, in the framework of the events of the International Women's Day, has organized a specific center of interest on the Terres de l'Ebre Campus CRAI, Sescelades Campus CRAI, Catalunya Campus CRAI and Medicine anf Health Sciences CRAI. There you can find a selection of books and stories abouth women and feminism. It also includes some posters and brochures related to this topic.
We also invite you to participate in the activity "Tell us what it means to you" where, using post-its to drawing a feminist symbol, you can write what this date means to you. With this action we want to challenge and promote reflection on the meaning of this day, the value of the feminist movement and the struggle for equality.
Both options will be available, throughout the week, in the exhibition space of their respective campuses.

Online training of the Web of Science database: 1st cycle of online training

WoS - March 7-25, 2022 From Scientific Resources of the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT), from March 7 to 25, an online training session on Web of Science is organized. The objective is to make researchers, students and library staff aware of the updates and novelties of this database. 15 free courses have been scheduled, in spanish, with a duration of 1:15h and in the morning. You can consult all the sessions and formalize registration through this link this link. When accessing you must validate yourself in SABiDi, with the credentials of the university. From here, you can choose the session or sessions of your interest. Use the institutional mail of the URV, completing the form. Once the registration is formalized, you will receive a confirmation email containing the access link to the session, the date and time indicated. Please check your spam folder if you don't received it.
The day after the end of the conference, and provided that you have answered the questionnaires of the corresponding session, you will receive a satisfaction survey by email. Days later you will be issued a single certificate of attendance, with all the sessions in which you have participated.
