Center of interest: “LGTBIQ+“ at the Terres de l'Ebre Campus CRAI

On June 28, 1969, a police raid on a popular ambient bar called the Stonewall Inn - Greenwich Village, New York, marks the beginning of a continuous fight for the defense of sexual and gender diversity.
Brenda Howard, a New York bisexual activist known as the mother of pride, is credited with putting on the first pride parade to commemorate the first anniversary of the Stonewall events.
Since then, the community has used this date to claim the freedom and dignity of the entire group.
The concept of pride is used to highlight the idea that no person should be ashamed of what they are, with the aim of transmitting the intrinsic dignity of each human being, which should not be affected by their gender identity or expression or their sexual orientation. .
At the Terres de l'Ebre campus CRAI and within the month of pride we have prepared a center of interest with material on this subject that can be consulted or borrowed.
Exhibition “12 years of Tarragona Comic Week” at the Terres de l'Ebre Campus CRAI

On the occasion of the presentation of the book Mirades i estudis desde la Setmana del Còmic de Tarragona, by the professor of the Department of Catalan Philology Emili Samper, an exhibition has been organized a sample of the posters of the lasts twelve editions. The posters combine the comic and the city of Tarragona and have been made, in each edition, by a member of Delirópolis or by a guest author of recognized prestige. Each poster has its own style.
The exhibition is complemented by an audiovisual and selected comics from the CRAI collection and is curated by URV Publications and the Guillem Oliver Center for Historical and Social Studies.
