On Thursday, March 24, at Medicine and Health Sciences campus CRAI, we have celebrated "World Tuberculosis Day" with a new center of interest where you will find a bibliographical selection related to this event. With it we want to contribute to raising awareness in the university community about the devastating health, social and economic consequences of this disease, which causes more than 4,000 people to die every day and some 30,000 to become infected every day.

On the Exhibition Area on the 1st floor of the Sescelades campus CRAI , a new center of interest has been developed on the occasion of the 94th edition of the Oscars, plannedSunday, March 27, 2022. Where, you have a sample of DVDs and books available, on the subject of cinema, and a presentation in which you can find curious anecdotes related to the Oscars ceremony. In addition, you will find the explanation if or scientific proof of filmographic images that will allow you to clarify whether what appears in the films is pure fiction, or whether it is scientifically correct.
Exhibition "Women fighting. Labour conflicts in the textile industry of Tarragona (1961–1980)" at Bellissens campus CRAI

The exhibition takes a tour of the fighting story of women workers of the multinational tarragonine textile company Seidensticker-Valmeline. They were active subjects of labor conflict in the company between 1961 and 1980 and protagonists of struggles that are fundamental pieces of the historical memory of the women's labor movement.
